"The music of Vortex Surfer can be described as a tasty cocktail of Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) with a pinch of Elder and, naturally with their name originating from one their songs, Motorpsycho.
Eindhovens own Pieter "Pidah" Kloos, also of Motorpsycho sound engineering fame, did the mastering on their recently released album "Versailles". For fans of... Well, you can guess who."

"Epic tracks like "Say What You Want To Say" and "Edge of the Mountain" show the bands progress. The first track manages to mix all the elements of the bands sound, taking inspiration from prog, post rock, noise and stoner rock. The result is an epic whirlwind of sound. The track "Edge of the Mountain" continues this trend of grand sound, with strong riffage, an atmospheric mid section and a thunderous, uptempo climax at the end."
